Step into the world of Berlin’s underground service with the GI/1E series – an iconic East Berlin classic, also known as ‘Gisela’.
With the SubwaySim 2 – Berlin Vehicle DLC: Gisela (GI/1E), your fleet is expanded to include a classic train from the Berlin Transport Authority. The fully playable train set integrates seamlessly into the existing SubwaySim 2 gameplay and offers a distinctive driving experience.
Take control of a vehicle with distinctive technology and unique handling characteristics. The richly detailed driver’s cab allows you to operate key functions such as traction and braking controls, door operation, signal lighting and pantographs.
The simulated gearbox ensures the series’ typical driving and acceleration behaviour. This is complemented by functional details such as brake indicator lights between the carriages, an integrated radio with dynamic route number display, and the ELA FB7, a passenger information control system with realistic input logic.
An interactive tutorial introduces you to the operation of the vehicle. In the included scenarios, you can expect a variety of operational situations: these range from special events on the Berlin rail network to technical operations outside of regular service.
The GI/1E is also fully integrated into the timetable and career modes. Both modes have been tailored to the vehicle’s characteristics and enable seamless operation within the game.
